ROC believes in spreading the knowledge about Yoga in formal training to prepare Belizeans. That is why scholarship sponsoring is important to us for people who are interested in becoming Yoga teachers. These scholarships have a monetary worth of $4000.00 BZE and up to date three women have received a free scholarship from ROC and trained through Om Shanti Belize School of Yoga.-Katie Usher, Florence Goldson and Maryam Abdul Qawiyy. Maryam is an active ROC Ambassador currently living and teaching yoga in New York City, USA. When she is in Belize she travels across the country teaching Yoga to women’s groups.
