Jonah Supaul is resident of the quaint town of Punta Gorda, Toledo. His love for the ancient arts began in nature, as he often imagined that this was where his ancestors first began their lives. He relished in the serenity and tranquil state of mind it provided for him and as time progressed, he began to become more aware of the importance of having a calm mind in all aspects of his life. He began to look elsewhere, experimenting with different perspectives, methodologies and techniques to bring about this tranquil state of mind at will. At the age of 17, he was introduced to the concept of the Yoga by a close friend, he soon realized the how legitimate and highly effective the practice of yoga in one’s life can be. With his minimal practice, he was able to see and feel the dynamics improvements of his life in his mental, physical and spiritual well-being. It did indeed sound cliché to him, but he was elated to see that yoga did indeed bring about the results it said it would. He began his yogic journey by attending local classes, and soon after become a certified yoga teacher in Power Yoga. His journey continued to advance in both wisdom and practice when he embarked to India to study yoga at the S-VYASA University where he was able to delve deep in the metaphysical characteristics of yoga, also the scientific perspective on this ancient art. He believes that yoga is a universal art and it can be applied to any aspect of anyone’s life with the intention of improving the quality of it, with the proper guidance and people.
