Indira Andrewin (Belize)
Indira Andrewin is from Gales point manattee, where her passion for dancing comes from. Her first yoga class happened when she was 9 and all she could think of was how beautiful the poses were and somewhat similar to dance. She was determined to learn the gracefulness of the postures and excercised her flexibility throughout the years.
It wasnt until Indira participated in a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat did she feel it was the start of her spiritual journey and felt more connected to yoga. She later became a Certified massage therapist and started CocoLove at 15; a natural body product company and Cocolove spa at 19 to offer her massage services. In 2017, Indira took a Baptiste power yoga teacher training that would ignite a stronger passion for yoga. She began teaching in Columbia village primary school and several times freely to the community. Because of her mentors from the Baptiste training in 2019, Indira saved from her buisness and traveled to Kenya, where she volunteered and took daily classes at Yoga Heart Kenya as well as joined 300+ people- community classes on saturdays at Africa Yoga project.
For Indira Yoga has provided several tools that she comes back to; to check in with herself, to share with others and to find balance in life.
