Rhythm of Change Belize (ROC) is excited to introduce our newest Global Ambassador: Gabriel Villaverde.
Gaby was born in Argentina and moved to the Miami in 2001 to work in the hospitality field. After living in Miami for several years he re-discovered himself through Yoga.
This personal life shift towards a more holistic compassionate life was strong enough for him to decide to deepen his practice by taking a 200 Hr Hatha Vinyasa teacher training program. After graduation he started to teach full time quickly realizing that there is much more to learn and many different ways to this path. After working and assisting several Master teachers, Gaby enrolled in a 300 Hrs Gentle Therapeutics mentorship training program with Allaine Stricklen and also attended various trainings in Thai Yoga bodywork with Michael Mukti.
It was when he discovered Vinyasa Krama with Rae Indigo and United Yoga that it all came into place. Access to this technology, enhanced his teachings to the point where he delivers wise progressions and smooth flow while exploring multiple directions of mobility that will keep you mindfully aware. With his enhanced sensitivity he delivers a class that is appropriate for every level of practitioner.
Gaby incorporates new asanas/ breath work combinations and a fun playlist to raise your vibration and experience a psycho-emotional uplift with a feeling of balance at the end of the class.
He now considers Belize is home and is the General Manager/ Operations for Om Shanti Belize -YOGA STUIO/ SCHOOL, SPA& WELLNESS, HOTEL & TOURS.
As a ROC Global Ambassador, Gaby teaches yoga classes to the young men at Wagner’s Youth Facility within The Belize Central Prison and to the young male residents at the Princess Royal Youth Hostel.
