The Belize International Yoga Festival (BIYF) held every year on the first Saturday in December. This year ( 3rd Annual) it will be held on Saturday December 1stat Harbour View Greens, Fort Street in Belize City.

BIYF is designed to bring together yoga and meditation practitioners, aspirants and the general public from Belize and around the world to enjoy soulful moments of wellness, healing, relaxation and reflection.

The festival is a time for positive interactions which is vitally important for the well-being of our community,country and the world.

BYIF is a non-alcoholic, family friendly event. The first of its kind in Belize and the region; patterned after similar festivals around the world. It is the signature fundraising event for the non profit Rhythm of Change Belize (ROC) www.yogahealsbelize.com

ROC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and implementing activities that brings forth individual, social and environmental changes in our country. It is also proud to be the only Belizean non-profit using innovative approaches such as mindfulness, yoga and other forms of wellness to create better communities in Belize.

The Documentary “Power of “Yoga” which highlights some of ROC’s programs garnered Great Belize Production special mention at the Caribbean Broadcasting Union Awards in September 2018. Please also take a look:

OCEANA is also presenting on Environmental Consciousness and there will be presentations on Ayurveda and Integrative Breathwork™

Yoga Teachers from around Belize and from abroad have confirmed their participation as presenters for this year.

There will be food venders offering delicious vegetarian and vegan food, fresh juices, chai tea and kombucha. Spa tents will offer massages, reflexology, reiki and other healing therapies. Mehendi henna body art will also be offered this year.
