This year’s closing ceremony will be held at Altun HA, an ancient Mayan City in Belize. It will incorporate Belize’s Mayan Heritage, The Pancha Tattva ( 5 Elements) , a kirtan and a very special healing singing bowls session.

Sticking to the theme of this year’s festival, Round Table discussions will be taking place on these topics:

Round Table Discussion 1: Release – What surfaced this year that you needed to release? How did you release and let go?

Round Table Discussion 2: Overcome – What obstacles arose for you in the last year and how did you overcome these?

Round Table Discussion 3: Create – After the process of releasing and overcoming, how were you able to create positive new mindsets, what manifested into a new reality out of your creativity?

BIYF will not only be a great way to express yourself and to share your message on a global platform but you will also be helping to raise funds for the yoga non-profit Rhythm of Change Belize (RoC).

We are proud to announce that RoC has not only achieved all the goals for 2021 but in fact exceeded them. Please find below all That RoC now offers virtually on yogahealsbelize.com under “courses”.

• ROC’s Children’s Yoga Program ( ages 5-18)
• ROC’s Personal and Professional Development Program
• Bliss of Being (Accessible Yoga) Series 1&2
• Yoga for Everyone ( Overweight, lImited Mobility and Injures)
• (2) Transformational Breathwork Courses to help with Stress, Trauma, Anger and Grief

RoC has also collaborated with The Ministry of Education and other organizations to film a Nationwide campaign to engage teachers in various self care and positive mental health practices to support them in the classroom and at home.

ROC proudly collaborated with Radical Transformation Yoga, Asana Alphabet, Freedom Yoga Belmopan and SunRay Yoga.

We are also currently working with the Love Foundation to promote peacebuilding within inner city hubs affected by Gang Violence.

The funds raised from this year’s festival will go towards expanding our reach and creating more online and in person courses which we hope will appeal to a wide variety of people within our beautiful country of Belize and the region.

We are also creating a RoC Star Boutique page on our website to help with the exposure of conscious entrepreneurs and businesses. A percentage from sales will go to RoC.
